Tremolo with a a Mix Knob?

Aren't depth and mix knobs the same thing?

I almost asked the same question, but decided depth is likely a peak to peak distance, with mix being more similar to level control.

^^^ This ^^^ I want one that will let my dry signal through. I like to use pretty much everything as a color and not to drowned my signal completely. I'm preparing to puchase my next pedalboard but need to nail down everything that will be on it so I can get no more and no less than what I need.

I think you meant peak to trough amplitude. Peak to peak I think of as speed/rate. Anyway, when you turn down a mix knob you're just dialing up the level of the trough, and the slope of the wave gets squashed just like with a depth knob. Mathwise I think it's the same thing unless you're in stereo.

In my head I was picturing low peak to high peak, but since you're not in my head we can use trough... :D

The full tone has a mix knob , the new ones have a boost as well , when I don't needs tremolo I turn down the mix and use it as a boost at the end of the fx chain

Just wait until you get to rotary speakers, Then you have controls for the speed and intensity (depth) of the tweeters and woofers.

I'm trying to control my insanity for the moment. I like a good Tremolo Sound, but need one to work for my rig. I'm trying to hold this board to a 24x12 Size. I was going for smaller but it just isn't going to happen if I don't want to keep going around and around with pedals. Happy with my Amp, Cab, Guitars, so now its just nail down the pedalboard. I started working up a set list, its time to get back to playing a little more.

I had a plan for a pedal board, but then it turned into a bass pedalboard, so I have all these pedals just kinda sitting there.

Also I have two carvin rack XP4 effects processors, that sound really REALLY good. Sure they aren't as easy to tweak as floor units, but i've found most people with pedals set and forget it, often marking where they like it. The only ones they really tweak are the overdrive pedals, so pretty much ALL of my pedals are OD pedals.

I should also add that the XP4 has a KILLER rotary speaker simulator.

Now I just need to decide whether to buy a "pre-made" pedal board or try to make something myself.

You can make a pretty cheap pedalboard with just board. If your going to do like the size of a Pedaltrain Nano or MINI just buy a piece of wood from the lumber store and hit up a buddy with some left over stuff from a project. Pre Made there are lots of stuff out there, i'm going to most likely go with a TrailerTrash next time and buy all the plugs and stuff online and wire it all up myself.
