dhuber Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 If I was going to put a bid on that I'd ask the seller to weigh it. In my mind if it's an Artist it should be semi chambered. My Studio weighs 8.51 lbs and the Artist weighs 7.14 lbs. I'd like to know what it weighs. I'm not planning on bidding but I'll probably send a question about weight and I'll post my findings. I agree it's ugly but it's still a great price for Hamer Ugliness. But then again I find most Artist Ultimate's ugly. I like the ebony finger boards and binding around the F Holes, but the abalone and gold hardware tends to be too much busyness for my taste. Ivory binding around the F hole and black trim around the pickups. Who was the genius who came up with this. If I had ivory binding around the F hole put ivory trim plates around the pickups and the rest of the guitar. Matching headstock, ivory trim and chrome hardware that guitar would be stunning...

The fact that it is numbered like an ARTULT, and not a separate model, and also bears an "ARTULT" truss rod cover, leads me to believe that it's possibly a chambered body without the F-hole. I've seen several of those over the years, as regular Artist models that appeared to be Studio models...
