Guest JackButler Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 For Sale: Ovation Doubleneck 6/12 (acoustic-electric of course) w/ OHSC. The finish is a Rubyburst with Gold keys. There's a toggle for choosing either or both necks on at the same time. Action is low..low..low.. low enough for me to do tapping licks on it! Will also include Kyser 12 string capo..I keep the 12 neck tuned down a whole step D thru D..it lessens string tension so its a little easier on my fingers that way and there's less tension on the top and bridge that way as well..no problems anywhere of any kind. Pics available here:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v193/Mai...tler/ovdbl1.jpg(sorry..I still suck at the posting pics thing!)I'm asking $550 shipped to HFC'ers out there. I'll be out doing Christmas gigs through Sunday night, but I will most definitely answer any and all questions and inquiries.Thank you for taking the time to look and God Bless,,Kevin (JackButler)
cmatthes Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 That's a great price - crazy cheap too! If I wasn't looking into an acoustic bass right now, I'd be mighty tempted.
DavidE Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Case?Safe to assume it's an import?Imagine breaking this one out to play Dead or Alive.... ;-) It's so Richie!
hardheartedbill Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 DavidE, YOU are a cowboy, you gotta get it!
Guest JackButler Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 Case?Safe to assume it's an import?Imagine breaking this one out to play Dead or Alive.... ;-) It's so Richie! Ovation labeled and issued case included..definitely "None More Sambora" than this one! LOL! You are correct sir..import....but absolutely awesome none the less...necks have some light figuring/flame to them as well.edited to add a THANK YOU to CM for posting the pic!
hamertek98 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I can't believe this hasn't sold yet. BUMPITY-BUMP!
sirDaniel Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I have one and I LOVE it. I use it alot. It's not heavy; like most doublenecks, you can do alot of neat things with 18 strings. I can't remember the last time I used my regular old acoustic. The electronics are great on this too. OP24. Action is low, playability high. AND when you break it out people REALLY NOTICE YOU. and that price truly is STUPID CHEAP!If you play in church, this is the ticket man.
