kurtsstuff Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Sounds great...could be my set up here that I'm listening to it through but the mix seems off? kind of a Lynch/Dokken vibe....good stuff! And the guitar tone is killin!!!
wyldbil Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 1)Great Playing 2)AWESOME tone!3)Love her voice, too!So, what's NOT to like?Rock on, bro...
Michael_ Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Nice! What kind of Hamer did you use? It's got awesome chunk on the rhythm parts, great tone.
Kurt L Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Kick ass! The guitars sound great.Be sure to let us know when the EP is done.
atquinn Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Very nice ! The vocals sound a bit loud through my earphones though (although knowing my headphones, that probably means they sound fine through speakers). So, what equipment were you using for this (guitar, amp, amp settings, etc...)? Also, where's the solo? Judging from the rest of the guitars, I sure you could have laid down something wicked. -Austin
GuitarDoyle Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Very nice bro...sounds killer! Any more tunes???????
Guest JackButler Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Nelson,NICE WORK! I dig the intro..its a nice attention getter! \m/ horns up!
lord nelson Posted March 22, 2005 Author Posted March 22, 2005 Thanks for great comments. 1. We found out that this song worked great without a solo so we decided to leave it that way. We are NOT a no-solo-band. 2. Gear. Guitars: Hamer usa standard custom (this one), Yamaha SG 700s and an epiphone les paul standard. Amps: all the lead guitars are played through a Egnater (by Rocktron) TOL 100 with lots of mids and gain. Channel and master volume about 7. One rythm guitar is also played through the egnater with less gain and mids. cab was a behringer 4*12. The two last rythmguitars was played through a Rivera s120 with 2 1*12 cabs. That's where the chugga chugga comes from. Cannot remember the eq setting, but the volume was set between 9 and 10 (no it doesn't go to 11) 3. The EP is done, and has been remixed. I found the songs sounded very different from stereo to stereo 4. I will post a new song as soon as we decide to put another one on the web.
