Looks simple enough.....$25 parts, $70 labor, add tax at 7% for $101.65, deduct the upfront deposit.

pre amp tube $25. (wow)

dissapate power (purge out)

confirmed wrong pre amp tube in v1, replaced with a very expensive to you pre amp tube.

scoped sin wave ( bias?)

checked other remaining tubes ( after bias??)

looks lke your already pricey preamp tube went from $25 to $95. and then some.

not good.

no other issues found.

test (again?) re assemble

What was in V1 when you brought it in?

I didn't realize it but $25.00 is list price for a GTECC83-S tube. Things have certainly jumped in price recently...

It says "Thank you!"

That's it.

Doh!

DEP=Deposit, Aha that solves that mystery. There was no issues with "Wrong" Preamp tube, the amp went microphonic on its way to the new owner. They were ALL 12ax7's or 12AT7's. IMHO I asked him to swap tubes, I supplied him two sets with the amp and the amp does not need biased, scoped or what ever else. Just plug and play ;).

Whatever same shit, different day.

Thanks Guys!

Is that bill from the new owner fixing a microphonic preamp tube?...when you have him an extra set?

Sounds like bullshit to me.

The total is $31.65.

I know that because that is the amount entered in the field marked "TOTAL."

HA, i'm with Kiz!

I hear you Ray, I told him just to swap a tube and he insisted on taking it in. I'm also not here to drum up the troops either. We will resolve this.
