Question

Hey has Hamer always used "Hamer" potentiometers?..  And if not, can somebody chime in with a timeline  change?.. what other brands did they use DiMarzio's?.. CTS?.. or?

Thanks, Dave

CTS, then Dimarzio (CTS), the Dimarzios with the Hamer stamp.  Not sure where they were sourced from late 80s-on, but they were CTS-coded throughout.

How do Dimarzios rate against Bourns Pro Audio pots?

In the early years, were they all "Hamer" labeled?

So, if I'd want a Hamer potentiometer right now, today, what should I buy? A Dimarzio pot?

If anyone feel like it, please post a link to where a correct pot is sold.

I haven't tried them myself....but I am told that Mojo Electronics sells pots with the "Hamer taper" that are supposed to be like quality.....unless I was fed a line of poopage....

I got some DiMarzio pots made by Centralab (134 code) from Alpep some time ago. Great for volume not so good for tone because the taper.
