Euro friends - Amazon and pedals in Europe

Heading to see my relatives and friends in Slovenia in April. Can't wait.

1) Does Amazon operate in Europe with European distribution system to keep down shipping costs?  I would like to bring a couple of gift cards for people, but only if they can get things shipped from within Europe, not from the US.

2) I have some pedals that aren't getting much use and would give them to my nephews.  I know they need a different plug into the wall. Do they just buy their own local adapters?

a 9v jack is a 9v jack so pedals are universal. Yes, you just buy a power supply with an EU socket to power them. And again, they are different in the UK. There are good PSU's over here, ie; you can buy a Caline CP-05 which will power up to 10 pedals at varying volts/amperes and each isoltade. Can be gotten for around $20 US (I had mine constantly on in my workshop for 5 months so far)...

Check Amazon for a site in Slowenien country code. It ought to be redirected to the next appropriate site of them.

Pedal power cords usually have +/- swapped (Boss style). Make sure to order the right ones.

Yes, Amazon has different warehouses here. And, different prices on their different country sites. Like amazon.de can have stuff cheaper than amazon.co.uk and then stutt they don't have on amazon.de is available through amazon.fr. It is pretty weird. No custom fees on stuff bought within the EU.

I ordered a bunch of stuff to my relative in Seattle last time I was in the US. I have her address as a temporary shipping address on my Amazon acount. So I ordered before I left Europe, and the stuff was at her house when I arrived. Pretty neat. You should be able to to the same from the US, ordering from a European Amazon site and get it delivered to a European address.

Hope it works out for ya. And hey, if your relatives don't want those pedals I'll take em. Lolz, kidding.

I don't know if a USA Amazon gift card would work in another country.
