I need some waterproof deck speaker covers.

I need some kind of waterproof bag (nylon maybe with a drawstring?) to throw over some Bose 301s on the deck. I'm old and tired of taking them in every night. Right now one sports a large dog food bag and the other a nice plastic Christmas one from Target. As much as I appreciate the functionality (and the look), the wife ain't havin' it.

Any ideas?

Are you looking for something that you can just throw over them, or do they need to be put inside of them? I tried my google-fu, and came up pretty darn empty. Best option would be to find something waterproof that will fit the speakers.  Most of the speaker covers I can find are water resistant. You really want water PROOF.

Yep - just something to put over them that won't blow off. Some type of waterproof bag would be ideal. They sit on 4-foot tall stands under the overhang so they aren't totally exposed, but plastic grocery bags - while fashionable - aren't terribly durable.

I have used trash bags at shows when necessary.  They were transparent as far as sound went.

There are speaker covers meant for use in the rain.  Others are meant to cover your speaker after a gig.

Here is a place to start looking-- Under Cover.

I'm thinking the humidity and temp changes are going to be hell on the cones and surrounds... 301's weren't really designed to be left outdoors.
