Mike Soldano Retiring....

I've had two Fridman's, and have had a few questions about both.  Dave emailed me himself both times within two hours.  In fact, the first time I emailed, I'm the one who finally had to cut it off.

I've no idea what it is like to work with BAD from a dealer perspective, but I've never had better customer service on my end of things.  Even Mesa doesn't have Randall answering the emails all the time.

Were/Are his amps more 6L6 or EL34 based? I feel that my Amp collection is more than a bit slanted towards the EL34 and EL84 side of things.

I feel like I would be a great Soldano owner.

I would support that assertion. They are great amps that have their own signature, yet something very familiar about them, as well.

EVH used an SLO100, and I think his Peavey 5150 amp was partly based on that, which was then the basis for his current line of amps, and the current "Invective" from Peavey.

The Hot Rod 50 Plus looks like a nice amp...

HR50 is a dopeass rock/metal amp. The Plus has a second channel (actually a second set of preamp/vol knobs) with switching.

I would be playing one if I still needed that kind of firepower.
