Quilter OD200 Head. SOLD!

Great sounding/feeling amplifier head. Works perfectly - no issues. 3 channels. Clean, Crunch and Lead. I've owned a couple other Quilters (ToneBlock and Aviator) this one has the most gain/overdrive and I feel the best overall tone. EFX Loop, Headphone out, Direct Recording Mixer/FOH output. Plus, it's tiny with 200 watts. I can't think of a better multi-channel amp to carry as a backup if you regular amp craps out.

Comes with Optional travel bag, A/C Power cable. Plus a 2-button lighted Foot-switch and TRS cable.
$400. Shipped/PP'd
(A PPGift would be awesome if you know me-Thx)

Not Interested in any trades at this time.

SOLD!

SOLD! Quilter SuperBlock UK Amp/Pedal SOLD!

As new condition. Works perfectly. I am the original owner. These are killer all-in-a-box pedals that also can run a cab with 25watts! Killer speaker emulator that sounds really nice. 3 UK based tones. Marshall JMP and 2 Voxes (AC and TopBoost). All the reviews are exceptional. Comes with everything it originally came with. Box, Power supply, manual and cable.

$230. Shipped/PP'd - SOLD!

Not to hijack, but how did you like the Superblock?

Quilter makes two Superblock versions. The UK (Marshall/Vox) and the US Superblock. I also have the Quilter Aviator Cub (Which is the Superblock US in a 1x12 combo) Quilter is really killing it with their new stuff.

The UK rocks. Its a great little box with multiple uses. Recording, the Cab sim is great, they picked the perfect IR speaker. Sounds super realistic. The 3 amp choices are 1 Marshall, 2 Voxes. It's also a great box to carry if your amp ever goes out. The 25w built-in power amp is pretty dang loud. Overall, for $250, it's a no-brainer.

There is much to like about Quilter. Not to say I am getting rid of all TUBE amps, but......

The last time I actually "played out" it was with an older 200 watt Quilter block mini amp, tucked into a shopbuilt 1 x 8 cabinet. The whole thing was not a lot bigger than a kid's  lunchbox. I was on stage along with one half stack (Orange) and a few boutique style combos. I was told after I finished that it was the best sounding rig in the room. (I will confess to using my fave single pedal with it). One of my long time guitar buddies remarked on the tone, thinking I was plugged into the 4 x 12 setup. Nope!

@django49, pray tell what magic pedal were you using?

I am boring. The Ethos OD (together with a "right" guitar and coil split option) gives me the 4 tones I need. It takes a while to fine tune it, but once set.......

Something like the Quilter gives me the base power to make it work live. All else equal, I would use the 4 X 10 Blue Angel for my base, but that little puppy opened several folks' eyes.

And it is hard to get much more portable......

It’s cute! Fab up a wicker grill for a Micro- Boogie look that’ll confuse people further.

What speaker is loaded in there?

Give one of these a try......

It is a speaker designed for mid range in stereo 2 or 3 ways systems. But with a range of 70-6k, it works well as a guitar speaker. And with a kevlar reinforced cone, rated for 100W RMS. For $50, it is a helluva speaker. I discovered it when Quilter was marketing their 2 x 8 system, which they claimed would stand up to 2 4 x 12 cabs. Hype? Well, you judge. I whiffed when they were asking $699 for their version. A nice design, but I reverse engineered it and built my own, using pine, for nearly nothing (setting aside any value for my labor). Designed for the mini-head to slide in the back/top. With the speakers tilted back at an angle, it projects really well.

I use a MicroBlock as a backup and was surprised how loud it is for it's size (MXR pedal-size), and it sounds great. Puts the old Crate Powerblock (former backup) to shame.

I love the 2x8 cab, Don, but you quickly run out of room on top for empties.

I thought it would be cool to scale down a Fender Super Reverb using Champ speakers (4 x 6”). I’d need a really small Strat to play through it!

Love my Quilter Mini 101!

And I have to say that Quilters customer service is super.

Once I had a (relatively small) problem with my amp, and I sent an email. Then Pat Quilter himself called me, and he was very helpful, even though the guarantee period had passed.

He even offered me to send the amp back for repair if the problem would recur, which it did not.

That is what I consider really standing behind your product!

Gabe 😀
