Yeah, since McInturff had a hand at Hamer, thought I'd try one of his models out. Matter of fact, that's what my Reverb rant was about, felt like I got (I'll call it out mildly) Violated on that transaction. Still a little PO about that, but hey, what's done is done. IF there is another Reverb purchase next time, I'll know what to expect !

I played a couple of McInturff’s years ago and they were very high quality guitars with great playability. I just never found one that spoke to me aesthetically as much as my Hamers. Not that I really looked all that hard; tho…

I hear ya. Got plenty of double cuts, but was goin' for a change of pace lookin' for an LP style with better upper fret access. So, I found a mahogany model that fit the bill. Seems like his LP models lately are Spanish Cedar and not being abe to try one, I stuck with the old tried and true Mahogany.

Yep, had I gone that route I'd have saved about $500. STINKIN' TAXES !!!
