All in working condition, heres a partial list: 1964 Telecaster neck pup. 1966 Telecaster controls (2 CTS pots, OEM switch and jack, original wires but modified in the past original cap was replaced, but have the original), not mounted of the plate, also a .1 cap that some Teles used for that bass thing Leo thought was a good idea. How about an early '50s Gibson L5 pickup? I also have a rotary switch tone control from a Gibson 355(?) that has a bunch of orange drop caps to select tone. It is an original, and mostly unmolested. Have a Gretsch wire harness with pots... not sure from which, but 60s, maybe 70s. All the stuff has some kind of story, but I have this DiMarzio Super Distortion I bought new in 1971 (maybe 72), it is one of the first ones (13k ohm). in 1970 I bought a 53 Tele that had the neck pup hacked out & someone had had some kind of Bucker in there. I got it with a big hole in the neck pup spot. that's why it was pretty cheap (75 bucks I think)(yes, a real 53). anyway I put the Super D in the hole and it was a total mismatch. I played it anyway for a year or so & then the SD went into a box. still have the 53... long story. wish I'd kept my 57 Strat ($135)

I think I was more looking for advice on what these things are worth (was/am drunk when posted). douchebags on fleabag are lookin for 1k on a set of Tele controls of the era. that, I am sure is bullshit. I am an old man.. I could easily give some stuff to someone that is not a douchebag. some of it not mine, and bro's grand children will get some of the results (though they don't deserve it)
hamerhead Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Drunk posting is the best! Anyways - both Reverb and Ebay have 'sold' pages. Those are two pretty good resources when trying to price old/odd gear. Then -30% for HFCers.
