Inexpensive Locking Tuners?

Question

Hey guys, are there any decent inexpensive (say under $50) locking tuning machines? I have an import Hamer Duotone that needs new tuners and don't want to spend too much but need them to work ok. I'd prefer locking tuners for quicker string changes.

In England, we buy Vanson tuners. Supposedly made at the same factory as Wilkinson gear is made. I even know luthiers who use Vanson tuners. Look at $40 a set but you may not be able to get them outside of the EU. I use them myself: thay are excellent!

Gotoh. I just got a non-locking set for my Shishkov. Recommended by our own Murkat. Who can argue with that??

If you can wait, I'll have a set of locking Sperzels available......B)

Like that Shishkov needed yet another reason to talk behind your back or utter your name under its breathe.

The Gotoh locking tuners are surprisingly good for the price.  Pro quality stuff, and very gig-worthy.
