I've got an PRS SE Zach Myers guitar and it's an incredibly good guitar.  The SE series may be the best guitars out there under $1K these days.  Congrats!

Dave's lists those all the time for under $600.  Not sure how he's getting his hands on so many "used" examples, but it gives me pause every time he lists one.

Thanks for the kind words. Outer Circle because I wasn't sure where to put the OP, considering it's not a Hamer.

It's my understanding that there were a limited number of these maple "quilt" top SE 24s made and all of them went to Sweetwater. I love the look so much I just had to have it. Plus, reviews were always stellar, "best guitar for under a grand" and all that. This is the 6th guitar I've brought from Sweetwater so now I get a 15% discount on everything and freebie stuff like shirts, straps and cords. Everybody gets free shipping and they offer a zero-interest financing deal where the total cost is split evenly among a number of months. Pay for it with a zero-interest cash-back credit card that is then paid down to zero every month - the cash back amounts to another 5% off the total cost. I tell myself I can't afford to not buy a nice toy now and then.

That's where I got mine, and it was basically new and Dave must be getting overstocks from the factory or something.  I love mine and upgraded the pickups to a Duncan Custom in the bridge and a Duncan Pearly Gates in the neck, even though the stock pickups weren't too bad.  It really sings now and compares to guitars that cost MUCH more.  I'm really impressed with the quality of the SE series that are now made at a new PRS factory in Indonesia.  I've had a few old Korean made SE's and those were very good too, so PRS has definitely hit a home run with their imports...  Looking forward to trying one of the new SE Silver Sky models now too!
