A year ago weren't they like $329 brand new?

....and then they quit making them, so of course the price goes up. I wish I hadn't sold my spare....

Thanks for the heads up, I pulled the trigger on one for $300 shipped and it just showed up.  Turns out its a brand new demo unit from Seetwater in factory box with unopened user manual.  I get to play with a new toy tonight...

Sweet!

Now download this software for PC.

This software for Mac.

This software for Android.

Remuda/SC will cost you $5.00 and is worth every penny. If you have a second Android tablet, like say, one from Walmart for about $70, you can run Remuda Server on the one attached to the SCX2 and using Bluetooth, run Remuda Client on another Android table from anywhere your Bluetooth will reach. Nice. 69420 nice!

There is a Remuda/Lite available for free.

The Fuze software gives you access to all the internal settings like Mids, which cabinet is assigned to which voice, Reverb types, compressor types, delays, phasers, emulated power amp sag and of course to turnoff the speaker sim to run native into your cab or whatnot, plus a plethora mo'.

Here is an article on biasing the SCX2,

https://www.strat-talk.com/threads/how-to-bias-a-fender-super-champ-xd-scxd.222693/

OEM bias setting tends towards 34mA for both tubes. 6V6, really robust 6V6, will support 20mA each and slightly higher. The SCX2 use a common bias sensing resistor so you read 40mA, the reading for both tubes simultaneously.

Unless you are using this amp for gain, I'ma recommend two things: bias to 38mA and try a 5751 (mu=70) in the splitter. 12AY7 (mu=60) are an alternative, I guess. Leaves you a bit more headroom in the power stage.

Enjoy and please report back.
