More MIJ Goodness of the Single Cut Variety

Here are 3 rather uncommon MIJ single cuts that I'm letting go. I always hesitate to heap praise on stuff I'm selling, but all 3 are damn fine instruments at very different price points.

First is a Crews lightly aged LED-1959 - Asking $3,700 plus payment fees (if any). For my money, the top end Crews LED models are as good as they get. Vintage correct materials (Honduras mahogany, solid hard maple and dark Brazilian rosewood), Hand-made craftsmanship, fantastic electronics and great feel and tone. If you're after a true Custom Shop single cut built to the highest standards without breaking the bank, this would be the one.

Next is a special order Tokai all mahogany single cut, an LS-JW OR - Asking $2,300 Shipped plus payment fees (if any). Patterned after the early 80s Tokai LS-100OR it has a one-piece all mahogany body finished front and back with a deep red gloss lacquer. I've never seen another like it.

Last is an Edwards Jimmy Page model - Asking $1,300 plus payment fees (if any). Part of the Edwards short lived unauthorized artist series. This has a top lacquer finish, has been relic'd and includes the Super Circuit that allows coil splitting, series/parallel and phase switching.

I’ve played a few Crews models and yes, they are killer guitars. I know the guy in Japan that does the ordering and I got to see a lot of them before they hit the floor. I used to live near the shop and we spent a great deal of time setting them up and testing them. Most of the time they were pre sold. I wish I could take that off your hands.

I also know the winder for the K&T pickups and they are as good as it gets.

I had a Crews for a while - one of the KTR ones, not even the highest end - and it was phenomenally good. GLWTS, those are nice instruments.

I need to hear more about your connection to Crews & K&T. The K&T pickups that I have been lucky enough to experience have been fantastic. Their Weep set (BB/ZB) are my all time favorites.
