hamerhead Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I don't imagine there's too many of you that have but thought I'd throw it out there anyways. The one on my cheapy Strat copy is pretty crude. The Gotoh appears similar in design but I'd guess is higher quality. Any suggestions for a replacement would be helpful.
HamerCustomEr Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I am not 100% sure what brand of bridge it has, but my Fender Japan Stratocaster XII from 2005 has a good quality bridge. I am pretty sure that some of the Strat XII reissues used the Gotoh GTC-12. My bridge might be this one.
cmatthes Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 I have one on a Tele and my son has one on his Jaguar 12 String. It’s the same bridge Hamer used in the Eclipse and some custom 12 strings in the ‘90s. Great bridge!
hamerhead Posted January 5, 2023 Author Posted January 5, 2023 Are the Gotoh bridges stamped or marked in any way? There's a lot of cheap look-a-likes out there.

While I'm sure you've detailed this build in a prior post(s) here on HFC, I cannot find it via the search function. It's seriously cool. So, what's the deal with this one?
Hamer95USA Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 I have the Gotoh 12 string bridge on my Yamaha Pacifica 303-12 II 12 string electric guitar.
