SDOTD----Elvis 1968(?)

On sale (not for the first time). List price is stupid. At $500, I almost jumped.

I was a big Elvis fan. Guess this would go well with a full black leather suit. My wife is MILDLY amused if I crank out "Trouble". 😁Has it really been FIFTY FIVE years?

Hollow body, not semi. Mini-HBs with coil split. Binding looks nice. Not so sure about inlays, but historically correct. Supposed to have good quality (MIC). Why not pick one up? I do not get on well with tiny necks. Had an old Byrdland that I loved in concept. The neck was both narrow and thin. I could not play it for more than 15 minutes before my left hand would cramp  up. I suspect this would be fun for a while, then end up hanging on the wall for nostalgia's sake.

I do NOT need any more stuff........

This was always my favorite from the Comeback Special

Mom had the resulting album complete with photos.  I was all about that Super 400 (though at the time I could have probably hidden behind that behemoth!).

I still listen to and love Elvis, especially the Sun years and early RCA stuff.
