LucSulla Posted April 15, 2024 Posted April 15, 2024 SOLD! More pics here: https://reverb.com/item/81558177-gibson-les-paul-classic-2018-pelham-blue 2018 Gibson Les Paul Classic in Pelham Blue w/OHSC This guitar is super clean. The two somewhat "major" marks are the usual ding under the pickguard from the pickguard screw and a scuff on the back you can see in the second to last picture (on Reverb). Belt buckles! It isn't through the paint and is more an impression than anything else, but it is there. Some cosmetic updates are a blanked truss rod cover, witch-hat knobs, Dunlop locking strap buttons, and a three-ply pickguard. All original parts are included, along with strap and most case candy. If it ever had the Gibson multi-tool, it was gone by the time I got it. According to the bathroom scale, this guitar weighs 9 lb. 7 oz. It's a really nice example of this model year for the Classic. Video is not of this guitar but of the model year. gorch Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 Man‘s colored in a red cabinet. Very nice blue tone. It looks a bit sparkling, right?

Yes, it's pretty similar to Fender's Lake Placid Blue, and I have heard they are both derived from Cadillac car colors. Lake Placid Blue was a 1958 Caddy color, and Pelham Blue was a 1960 color. They are just slightly different, but fading and variations mean that some are virtually the same. It's a great classic color.
