Doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive... Just get a < $20 digital bathroom scale from Amazon.... weigh yourself, then with the guitar... subtract the difference (way more accurate this way)

I bought mine for $17 and have been using it for about 12 years now... Amazon doesn't even list it anymore 😕

I run a calibration lab and here's my take.  Buy the cheapest one then, go buy some produce. Produce is weighed on a legal for trade scale.  Zero out your scale, pop the produce on your scale and check for offsets.  If you don't like what you see, return the scale, eat your veggies and start all over.

Seriously. It's pretty good for letters; not large enough for packages.

We couldn't use Stamps.com because we use windowed envelopes for checks. Ever run a windowed envelope through a laser printer (to print the Stamps.com postage)? The fuser melts the cellophane window! 😄🙃😡

He didn't clarify but I'm assuming he's talking about a scale for guitars 🤔

I bought one made by Accuteck on Amazon a few years ago. About $20-25. Weighs to 80 lbs. I took it to the PO and checked against their scale and spot on. Big enough to weigh a guitar or a box with a guitar in it.

for guitars (and bikes), I use a fish scale, guitars hang pretty well from a tuner shaft and the string keeps it from falling off, and you don't have to balance your guitar on a flat surface.  Some guys hang it from the ceiling and then you don't have to hold it steady with your arms.
