  1. Past hour
  2. that symbol guitar looks highly uncomfortable to play.
  3. Today
  4. Seen him twice last year. Really fun to watch play and he ain’t short. 🤩👍❤️🏁
  5. Thanks, since there were several, I wasn't sure which would be best for it. Appreciate it.
  6. Oh. That’s different. One need only to view the 1977 day on the green show. Those tens of thousands of rigatoni-armed skinnies could barely lift a bong to their faces, much less an 85 pound power amp into the back of a truck
  7. I just meant in general in those days, not Skynyrd specific. "All right, you can play, now lift up that CS800 and put it in the back of the truck outside." 🤣
  8. Lynyrd Skynyrd beat them to the punch on this one; they are already in a box, unless you want to make some tortured argument about Rickey Medlocke.
  9. It’s raining Cali’s, a standard and an elite, mind blowing flame https://reverb.com/marketplace?product_type=electric-guitars&make=hamer&sort=price_with_sale|desc @Bennyboy-UK: you awake? Whahappen
  10. Wish I had run into you, Steve. I would have said hello for sure. I wish I had worn an HFC t-shirt. I broke out the Drivin-N-Cryin instead. Eric Ernest of Abalone Vintage is a good guy. He graciously let me play Greeny when he was selling it on consignment..
  11. Titebond II or III with clamping
  12. It was great to meet you and your daughter, Willie! I really enjoyed our conversation, and would loved to have talked a lot more with you.The books are fantastic! I couldn't put my Robin book down all day Sunday. You are a treasure to the world of guitar, and an all around great guy! I love the contributions of the HFC's own Kizanski. He has had some amazing guitars. I hope to cross paths with you again sometime! Take it easy, Kerry
  13. FIFY. Laughable that any of those waif-ey junkies in the band could heft one of those. Maybe Ronnie (or Ed King), but, just sayin’…
  14. Got an old Charvel body and a previous owner tried to do something with it, add or change the controls and layout etc, but there are pieces that broke out at the control cavity. They can kind of Tetris back together, so I feel like it could be fixed. The wood is obviously thin there too. Is there a particular glue that's better for this than others? Not afraid to try some stuff to fix it, but I'm certainly not one of our esteemed experts here. My other idea was just to fashion a piece of pickguard over the whole spot and be done with it. Thanks.
  15. Should've been a test on joining the band back then - Can you pick up a Peavey power amp?
  16. Yesterday
  17. Puretone makes one, never used it though. https://puretonetechnologies.com/products/pure-tone-multi-contact-1-4-barrel-jack
  18. Many of us across the South thought those bent ears were factory features. Lol
  19. And Chris Hall is so hot. mmm....mmmm....
  20. The CS power amps were too. Knew plenty of guys who had dropped them or they slid out of the back of a truck onto the road and still worked just fine, but with a bent rackmount ear.
  21. And then the following week, the video saying there's nothing like the pedal, then another week later, grifting one from somewhere and proclaiming it to BE sliced bread and actual sliced bread isn't even a contender.
