Guest galejt Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 As described: Tiger Wood Detailed photos available. I'd describe the neck feel as on the inside of medium, slightly wider than normal, probably because of this: Shown left, the narrower string spacing bridge found on guitars 1981 onwards and, right, the earlier style. With the increased spacing, it seems easier to play at a higher tempo than other guitars I own, so I like it from that respect. The solder is no longer original. I tried VPAFs in it. The original pups are very much rock and roll. Surprisingly (to me) the neck is wound almost as hot as the bridge. It supported the Hot VPAF nicely. This would be a great cantidate for Uncle Greg's VooDoos. No structural issues, just ooopsies, some through the finish.. Top is mostly unscathed and the color is unique. It is very, very alive acoustically. $1100 shipped CONUS Euros pls contact me.
eightyfour Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 This is a great guitar, I know it first-hand. Buy with silly-stupid frothing at the mouth confidence!
kizanski Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 This is what the guitar looks like, color-wise (notice the abundance of red in the 'burst). Gale: I just got off the phone with "jjguitarranch". He is very interested.
