tomteriffic Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Hey guys, I'm trying to re-tool some stuff for my band and need to let some go in order to pull it off. This instrument is in very good to excellent condition with only minor play wear. It has been used for a few songs per show each and have been very well cared for. All prices are plus actual shipping. PP OK. Yamaha Pacifica PAC 303-12. Taiwanese made. The pics don't do it justice, its a nice transparent blueburst with a pearloid guard. No appreciable tarnish on the gold. I put in a set of GFS single-coil sized rails for more output and less noise. It gots the jangle. Very fast playable neck, wider than a Ric. Light play wear. the only noticeable thing beyond that is that I had to enlarge the bridge pickup hole a little and the Dremel slipped. Trying to fix it just made it worse, but you really have to look to see it. detailed pic upon request. It's a great working grunt's stage 12. $450 or reasonable offer, plus actual shipping BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!! THROW IN ANOTHER $75 AND YOU GET THE OH-SO-COOL LEOPARD SKIN CASE AND STRAP! It's just too cool to let go for nothin'. The case has some wear and tear (scuffs on the ends, rusty hardware) but all the hardware, feet, etc. are there and functioning properly. tomteriffic Posted July 29, 2011 Author Posted July 29, 2011 OK, I decided on this one too. It's an excellent condition, pretty much like-new Fender Blacktop HH Strat in Candy Apple Red. I've used it on a few gigs since I got it (a month or two ago) and it plays and sounds great, but doesn't quite fit into what we're doing, so it's going too. All the specs are here: Fender Blacktop Strat HH Specs These go for $500 new everywhere. But you won't get a case or gig bag and you'll have to set it up. I'll do this with a Fender gig bag, already set up, for $350 plus actual shipping. PP OK. Whammy bar, back plate and all case candy included. More detailed photos on request, of course. Hit me via PM or at tomteriffic AT earthlink DOT net P.S. No extra charge for the bare foot airbrush job front and back
Submariner85 Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 I have one of the Blacktop Teles. I like it alot.

cmatthes Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Those are pretty cool, and you can't beat that price.Stupid question perhaps, but why are those called "Blacktops"? The black top hat knobs?
tomteriffic Posted August 23, 2011 Author Posted August 23, 2011 Your guess is as good as mine, Chris. All of the guitars in the line do have those amp-style knobs.
