  1. Two words: Coney Hatch
  2. Clearly. I don't think you can put naked man-ass on a U.S. stamp.
  3. He also needs to check of there is a single mounting post in the middle of the housing as on the Sperzel or if there are two on either side of the housing as on stock Fender tuners. This is what I'm talkin' 'bout:
  4. Check if the G&L tuners have single-post mounting. When I put a set on my Strats I had to drill an additional hole as the original tuners had dual posts.
  5. Permission granted. However, I retain exclusive rights to Victims Carried Fireman Style Up The Stairs.
  6. No, apparently he got a trans red Newport 90. That I want to see!
  7. Hamerica's Redwood was probably my favorite of his stable of very impressive guitars. The Redwoods and the Earthen Maple run were cool and actually hinted at a rudimentary grasp of marketing.
  8. Like who, aside from endorsers and hobbyists?
  9. ^^^ Hold on a second, there. That's like placing a bet on the Super Bowl halfway through the second quarter.
  10. And conversely, PRSs tend to sound underwhelming due to their insistence on using their underwhelming proprietary pickups.
  11. I was talking about the quality of wood mostly. A $200 Squier with none of the issues you mention can sound great with a great pickup.
  12. A crap guitar with a great pickup in it can sound great. So in terms of quality affecting sound, for me it's pickup, then amp, then guitar.
  13. With classicals the price is in the craftsmanship. Cheap tonewoods and cookie-cutter sweatshop builds don't cut it for discriminating classical players like they do for us mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging electric players.
  14. Hahaha that ain't me. This is me: http://youtu.be/PnxeG47Gz5w?t=42s
  15. Back in the day I did the opposite: I chose an Ibanez RT450 over a Centaura because it had a fuller neck profile.
  16. Well played Same to you, sir! One of my favorite sequences in HFC history.
  17. I learned from the best: http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/57661-come-on-brent-are-we-ashamed/?p=607574
  18. "Looking for most reasonable bid- Good Luck!" It's Craigslist, not eBay, you fuckstick.
  19. '88, junior year, I'm 46 today.
  20. I cut my hair to look like his once. Not such a great 'do for a white dude:
  21. Those mid-'90s versions are indeed cool and quirkier than the typical stop-tuna setup, but getting a newer-model Hamer that won't have Hameritis for under 8 bills is a damn good deal IMO. Indeed.PERIOD!

  23. The capability to do the Ace Frehley/Randy Rhoads quasi-kill switch thing. Duh lol. My guess is to facilitate changes on the fly, but that's actually a very good question.
