About two months ago, I was over at Dean headquarters in Tampa, and they were building guitars and they were working on import guitars to ship out. They didn’t say anything to me. I didn’t ask anything about this. I don’t know any details of any of this. I can say, though I’ve talked to two people who work there, and they told me that they are still building painting, cutting and putting guitars out, so there are USA‘s being built, and there are some imports coming in, going out. The parent company does have debt and they have assets that are not equal to the debt. I was surprised to see a marine audio company renting out the majority of their factory warehouse space. They are definitely having issues, but I think they’re gonna be able to come out of this in some shape or form. I have had a great experience working with them for 25 years almost and always been cool to work with. 😎👍❤️🏁

Best part was hanging out with Ionel a fellow HFC member saw a guy in a Hamer Special T-shirt but never was able to talk to him or meet up with @theshark

I would view selling something here as being either a quick sale or trade kind of deal. My guitar will be for sale at a friend’s booth so I will not be carrying it in. Lugging gear at one of these would not be my choice of fun.

That one actually looks more correct than mine. Mine does not have the black checkerboard or the black on the back of the head stocks, but it’s fun and it was free. I’ll take it and yeah, I absolutely agree with everyone about the counterfeit stuff. It is a little tough to look at that head stock with the USA after the Hamer logo. Anyone buying one of these and thinking it’s a real Hamer USA in the aftermarket has not been paying attention to the fact that the company is gone and the fact that they would never have made one of these for one of us. 😄😵‍💫☺️

A friend of mine is going to sell it at his booth. I want $1000 for it.

UMM ERR…. Umm This has ended up at my house. 👀 Just brought it home this afternoon and haven’t even plugged it in. 😄☺️😵‍💫 Heavy beast sitting on my knee tuning it a little while ago. Might make a hanger for it since it has no case. It was standing on the necks earlier before it came here. Fotgot to mention it was gifted to me 🔥 😎👍❤️🏁

All I can add to this is that I have only owned 1 Fender Strat and have only owned a couple real Gibbers. 2 The Paul’s at that. My favorite Tele and Strat are Hamer products. My favorite LP type guitar would be any Hamer that I have owned but I do have a couple LP clones from a luthier out of Pennsylvania that are pretty stellar. The big guys make a ton of money and have for a long time. Dean, Hamer, and some of the bigger import companies have made cool instruments for 40+ years now. I wonder how much they have really cut into the big boys sales. Looks like the pie is big enough to support a few. Bad ones always fade away but the good ones stay around. Some even go on to become factors of their own. I’m thinking of Ibanez with that comment. I like the variety. Hell I love Hamer Standards cause of the LP like accoutrements on an Explorer shape. Gibber tried Hamer’s styling and it didn’t do nearly as well as a Hamer Standard. The E2 was heavy and just not as cool as a Standard. So there’s that part of it. Just my 2 cents. 😎👍❤️🏁

I have a slightly different one. Mine has the Hamer usa Guitars logo. It’s from a promo company It’s A Wrap. Size Large that runs a little big. GLWTS 😎👍❤️🏁
