Local guy bought this and a good friend now has it. Needed strings and a proper setup. Big Ass Neck upper with the Hardtail Kahler. Didn’t plug it in. Not for me but I thought about it for a minute. Head doesn’t come off and no case. And yes it has usa after the logo.

Trying hard to refocus my mind and energy today. Brought out Elvis to play Loudly. Those 30 minutes felt great. Think I might have to do it again in a minute. BTW I can’t unsee him now. Look closely and tell me if you see him. Lion or monkey not sure what Rorschach, or what ever his name is, would say. 👀😄😵‍💫

At my second Scorpions show in October of ‘79 I was right on the barricade in front of Francis and Rudy. He was very cool to our whole section. With Aerosmith sidelined at that time with Joe Perry having recently left, I suddenly noticed Francis was touring with Tom Hamilton’s amps. After the show when I met them through an interpreter he told me he loved them. They shared management at that time. 😎

Having met him a couple times, I can indeed say that is him. Hard to read sometimes but you will be entertained and informed. If you’re really lucky he is also very humble and obviously self deprecatingly funny.

My Explorer/Standard affliction started with Cub Koda ads for Ibanez Destroyers followed by heavy doses of Rick Nielsen and Dave Hlubek with the Hamers. Somewhere along the line I learned where the idea came from. Funny thing is I have never owned a Gibber except my E90. 🤷🏼

Don’t forget he had a hand in development of the E90, an Explorer 90% sized.
