  1. Does this count?.. because out of all my V's... I've grown to love this one the most... in fact, I hardly ever play it in fear of wearing it out 🤣
  2. Also, it's not very difficult to just glue a dowel, cut off, then re-drill the new hole... the washer will cover up the patch
  3. I didn't buy it... I was just announcing that it was sold 😂
  4. 🤢....................🤮
  5. No experience but Boss makes excellent pedals... plus Sweetwater has a really good return policy, so you won't be out anything "but time" if it doesn't work out... good luck 👍

  7. Also, don't feel overwhelmed, you're basically just wiring 1 volume and 1 control x2
  8. Today in 1971, the Montreux Casino in Switzerland burned down when somebody let off a flare gun during a Frank Zappa show. Deep Purple had been scheduled to start recording their Machine Head album at the venue the following day, but not all was lost: The fire famously inspired the band's classic Smoke On The Water.
  9. FYI, you really don't need the "switch" You can use the volumes to activate/control/blend whichever pickup or both...
  10. Source: Seymour Duncan https://share.google/VROdHheqF4a7D376X Clean and tin the soldering iron tip with solder and during the procedure, keep it clean by wiping with damp sponge... it might be easier to use a piece of cardboard as a template... lay out the controls using a pencil to punch holes in the cardboard to hold the potentiometer shafts in place while point to point soldering, then install in guitar, then finish humbucker wiring.
  11. 100% this... I do this as well and most likely will show what tuning the song is in to eliminate any confusion
  12. They're actually not that bad... they look way worse than they actually are... "that photo for some reason, is greatly exaggerated"... take a look at my photo with it on my guitar... you can zoom in and get the true texture
  13. I bought this album right after I heard them on the 1980 Castle Donnington Live album... I still have it... still have both albums actually 👌
  14. These are well made guitars, and are actual copies of Hamers 1st 4 digit Standard #0000 "That Rick Nielsen owns" Greco EX800H Hamer Style Explorer MIJ 1978 - Cherry 🍒 Sunburst https://reverb.com/item/91162929?utm_source=android-app&utm_medium=android-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=91162929
  15. Sometimes it's the little things... I love the old Charvel brass knobs, but recently demoed some Luxxtone guitars, "nice guitars" and just fell in love with their heavy knurled knobs... They are slightly larger and more heavily knurled than the old Charvel knobs and IMHO feel great... I’ve located something really close at Philadelphia Luthier... and right now, they're offering 15% off of everything that was supposed to end Dec 1st, but is still active... https://share.google/WoicB9WAEFm9vYvSA Here's how it looks "slightly distressed" on one of my guitars
  16. I rigorously tested 14 patch cables in 2025, and five of my top six are heavily discounted this Cyber Monday – fix your pedalboard for as little as $2.49 a cable | Guitar World https://share.google/crE8MPD5XdK9crNTc https://www.guitarworld.com/gear/guitar-cables/cyber-monday-patch-cable-roundup
