Honestly, just trial-and-error... but they come different packs of 3 with either the same or different angle degrees, and different height thickness... I just used a combination of measuring, eyeballing and guessing 😂

I personally do not own any guitars with a micro tilt, simply because I do not like the idea of a gap... I do, however, have tons of guitars with shims and have noticed a HUGE difference between a small piece of a heel shim to a full size wooden wedge... to the point where I have replaced all my "shimmed" guitars with full sized "full contact" wedge... and believe it or not, "in time" those little shims will warp or bend the heel area of your neck... first photo is what I consider a shim vs a full wedge.

It's been over 20-30 ears and my ears are still ringing 😳

Price of tickets did it in for me... I was planning to see Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, but they want $200+ a ticket... add tax, surcharge, parking & food/drinks... plus I'm older and the women aren't what they used to be... fuck that! 🤣

Hey, Any of you guys fix or know someone that repairs old Sony CD Walkmans?.. I was planning on using this for a bedroom type set up, but there's no output on either the headphone or line out and would like it repaired... it might not be cost-effective, but as it turns out, it's supposed to be one of the best Discman's ever produced "soundwise"😳 plus I have a soft spot for nostalgic things 😃 I'd attempt to repair it myself however, without opening it, I'm guessing parts are much too tiny with SMD technology

Cool post Saul, thanks for sharing... I must admit, of all the things that have gone by the wayside, I miss Radio Shack the most... though I know you can buy everything online, there's just something about being able to walk into a brick and mortar with a list to hand pick your components 😪
