  6. Hahahaha! Thx Bubs. That provided a much needed laugh.
  7. http://gallery.me.com/neilziesing#100029&a...k&view=grid I picked this up from Savethematches last Summer. Played it most every day in my smoke free home. Ships with checkerboard case. My knowledge of these fine guitars is limited at best, but here is what I know from my discussions with other HFC members. Feel free to edit, or add new info as I am sure all would be interested. Apparently there were only 6 TV's, 6 cherry, and 3 or 4 vintage orange. There were also a few maple-topped ones that followed years later. Of the six TV BCR Juniors, only a few had the pick guard shaped where it meets the neck at the lower horn (like this one does) so that it looks more vintage correct. Asking $1450 CONUS only Buyer pays shipping and insurance. Ping me at ziesing at earthlink dot net if you are interested.

  17. Happy B'Day! it was great to meet you at NAMM.
  18. Thanks Neil! It's good to finally see what when down in the Hamer booth. No problem. I hope to send back a report from Musik Messe as well. Yeah, normally a lap steel would not catch my attention. These however really caught my eye. They looked great in person, though I never did get a chance to come back and give them a try.
  19. This was my 14th Winter NAMM. The one thing that stood out (for me) was that there seemed to be a level of cooperation between dealers and manufacturers which I had not seen at previous NAMM shows. The overall vibe seemed to be "hey the economy sucks, so what can we do together to get things happening again?" That said, if you really look closely, there is always someone,. or something new just under the radar (and usually in Hall E...LOL). For me, this year it was found in a small booth in Hall E and it was a guy named Joe with a company named Joe Co. He has a single rack space 24 track 96khz recorder for under 2K. It has no drive. I has USB 2 ports and can record to basically any external 7200rpm USB2 drive. You can even stack up to four of these. http://www.joeco.co.uk/main/VSCR1_Summary.php
  20. Yeah things were rather thin in the Kaman booth as far as Hamers are concerned. I never did make it to the Fender room. Perhaps there was more there.
  21. I shot these with my iPhone, so the quality is not super, but some cool images nonetheless. http://homepage.mac.com/neilziesing/PhotoAlbum16.html enjoy.
  22. My experience has been that when using a PODlike device through an amp, all you really need is the Power AMp section of that amp. You do not want the preamp section as it will have too much im,pact on the sound of the PODlike device. The PE60 has 3 band EQ and the power amp section. Juts plug the out put of your PODlike device into the PE, EQ to taste and go. One last bit of advice. I always run my PE60s flat out. They just sound better to me run that way. I think most power amps do. Tinker with the output volume on your POD.
  23. Definitely try the Tech 21 Power Engine Series. I have two of their Power Engine 60 units. One 12" speaker, 60 watt power amp section with EQ in a lightweight cabinet. I use two with my PodXT Pro. They also make a 2x12 and 4x10 config.
