My first Hamer was a '92 or '93 black Diablo. What a great guitar that was!

I don't remember the guy selling it, but I do remember not being quick enough on the trigger. Love the flame maple top on that one.

Hi PF: Jol made me bandsaw that one, you know another one of those factory "seconds", can't have them floating around. Just like they say, don't buy your groceries on a Monday it is all the leftover/handled stuff from the weekend, don't buy a Hamer that was made on Mondays either, unless they have had at least two cups of coffee before hitting the line. I'm really not a fan of relicing new guitars. I can see only 2 reasons why I would do it. 1) Put in a few dings so that I don't worry about taking it out to play. 2) Render the neck feel as if it has been broken-in after years of playing.

You can say that again brother! Two that quickly come to mind is SirDouglas' f-hole GT Standard with one humbucker and one P90. Then there's Pirateflynn's Monaco...
