sirDaniel Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 thats NOT a T-51 it's a T-5 and most sold/sell on the bay for under 2 bills.
cmatthes Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Yep - unfortunately, those aren't so rare either. They were the among some of the better-made Korean Teles out there, but as SirDan mentions, they sell for a lot less on the street. I think that the $375 is close to (or more) than their original list price. Not trying to crap on the deal or anything - just letting ya knwo what you've actually got.
MCChris Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Vintage .... rare .... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight ....
mattb Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Vintage?? BAH! In that case, so is a 98' Fender Mexican Tele.

MCChris Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 That being said I always thought the T-5 was a great value Not at $375 firm, a price which begs the question:

wyldbil Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 The local GuiTarget had one of those awhile back marked $475, used!I just shook my head and kept walking.
hamerhead Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 That looks an aweful lot like the near-mint T-5 I ebaYed to a John Patterson/jazz_fusion_guy from Wake Forrest, NC with an email address of eermusic@nc.rr.com. last year for $235 shipped. And at the time - before he had even an inkling as to what it was - he accused me of misrepresenting the guitar.....could be a coincidence......
