Give him a break.

He, like me, suffers from "resting curmudgeon face."

"Jeff! Smile!"  "I am smiling!"

I had a boss one time in a yearend review tell me, "You know, it wouldn't hurt to let people see you smile once in a while."

 

OTOH: Ringo is killin' it these days!
