Currently has a brass nut. Not sure if I should change that. Same goes for the volume pot for the neck pickup, which has some dead spots. Quote

As for the volume knob, that's certainly a lot easier to accomplish. 1 1 Quote

I assume you have tried some Deoxit in the volume pot.You did such a nice job cleaning it, you probably know about Deoxit already. If you don't, that should cure your problem..
