I’ve got nothing - no experience with that one at all.  

I think I like all Gretsches in general, and hear decent things about most of their models. I’m too stuck in snob mode and only look at the upper end MIJ ones, which are consistently good. 

Try it and report back to us.  It certainly looks cool.

Did you mean 2410TG?  Looks like the pickups were designed to offer something that goes against the grain of what most are looking for in a Gretsch.

I think you meant the G2410TG, which is from the lower-end "Streamliner" series.  Those sell new for under $600, and there are plenty of great used deals out there if you're looking.  I think they stopped making that model a few years back.  They're not bad for what they are, but personally, I'd upgrade to the Synchromatic series.
