Sometime over the last 30 years somebody changed the tuners, added a strap button, and a coil tap for the neck pickup, but both pickups are the original Super 70s. Pro HS face refin after some goon decided he could fool people into believing this is an original Gibby (for the love of God). Anyway, it's a great player, but it's a 30-odd year old guitar, so it's got it's share of play wear. Sounds, feels, and looks like Classic Rock damn well should. $850/shipped with minty OHSC.

serial Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 I dunno-it might have changed in '77- I had a '75 Destroyer (wish I still did) that I let go to get #0017. That one had a pearlish sheet under the top black coat. Didn't even look like a decal-more like a stencil or mask!

I always thought it was an inlay, maybe it isn't then. It doesn't appear to have an edge.
