serial Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 If it says "HFC" on the headstock-they only made 5. 6 if you include the one I custom ordered in sonic blue... The AK3P90 became a semi-regular limited model, but there are a very limited number with the HFC headstock stamp.
jkylloe Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 So should I keep it, I didnt know they only made 5It does say HFC stamped on the headstock and it does have a very coolCheckerboard electronics plate that reads Hamer Hand CraftedSorry about this , but I think I should keep this guitar, Thanks foryour honesty I owe you one
jkylloe Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 Just thought I would include some pics of back
cmatthes Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Jeff: That is one of the 5 (yes, actually 6, including Steve's blue one) made for this Hamer Fan Club (hence, the HFC stamp) as a limited run from one of the open house tours we had a few years ago. The checkerboard backplate was done by one of the guys here on the board and is not original to the guitar, but is VERY cool. Those are great guitars, and I've been offered two (of course!) at times I couldn't snag 'em.Do you recall who you got that one from?
serial Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 Hmmm-wonder if that's my old one... Great guitar if it was, but I had two...

Brewmaster Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 The wrap tail Studios I own are 95's, I think they made some in 96 as well. That is a really nice natural top on yours. Someone will get a killer guitar.

jkylloe Posted December 9, 2006 Author Posted December 9, 2006 The Studio is $700 Shipped before I put on FreakbayJeffjkylloe@hotmail.com
tubesrus Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 I bought the studio, I needed something with a slim neck, that price reduction mede it a no-brainer. I already have somehumbuckerss so I;m having it shipped wih the phat cats. Hum used to be a serious problem with the old wiring in my house but I got an EH hum de-bugger, it really works well. I can herdly wait.! Someday I'll find an artist with a slender neck and tall frets, some of the higher end artists had frets that appeared to have beenfiles down a lot, that just doesn't work for me.
