If it says "HFC" on the headstock-they only made 5. 6 if you include the one I custom ordered in sonic blue... The AK3P90 became a semi-regular limited model, but there are a very limited number with the HFC headstock stamp.

So should I keep it, I didnt know they only made 5

It does say HFC stamped on the headstock and it does have a very cool

Checkerboard electronics plate that reads Hamer Hand Crafted

Sorry about this , but I think I should keep this guitar, Thanks for

your honesty I owe you one

Jeff:

That is one of the 5 (yes, actually 6, including Steve's blue one) made for this Hamer Fan Club (hence, the HFC stamp) as a limited run from one of the open house tours we had a few years ago. The checkerboard backplate was done by one of the guys here on the board and is not original to the guitar, but is VERY cool.

Those are great guitars, and I've been offered two (of course!) at times I couldn't snag 'em.

Do you recall who you got that one from?

Hmmm-wonder if that's my old one... Great guitar if it was, but I had two...

Hey,

Got it from a friend and I don't know where he got it. I could ask him

What sucks is, I am in a financial bind and really need to sell a guitar but something

tells me to keep it. I need to think about it over night and figure it out

I love Hamers and have had to sell 2 this month already

I'll just jump in and say that Jeff is a great guy to deal with. He went out of his way to meet me and hand of an unbelievably cool trans green Eclipse (!!!!!!) earlier today.

Welcome to the board Jeff. Hope you can hold on to that AK - it's a stunner.

Yeah man, welcome. Hope you come out the other side with the guitars you want to keep...

Unusual for a 98 to have a wrap tailpiece and 'Studio' under the logo. I'm guessing it's more like a '96. What's the serial?

Hey

I'm not sure, I don't have it here at work but your probably rite because I do not

know as much about Hamers as you guy's do. I thought I had it rite but probably

do not. I will check when I get home and re post

Hey,

I think I need to sell the Korina, Is anyone interested??? I do have the original case

and can ship it from work so it would be packed awesome

Let me know

Jeff

The wrap tail Studios I own are 95's, I think they made some in 96 as well.

That is a really nice natural top on yours. Someone will get a killer guitar.

Okay Guy's

The Hamer Korina Artist is for sale. I made up my mind and it needs to go to a good

home so I hope one of you are interested

I bought the studio, I needed something with a slim neck, that price reduction mede it a no-brainer. I already have somehumbuckerss so I;m having it shipped wih the phat cats. Hum used to be a serious problem with the old wiring in my house but I got an EH hum de-bugger, it really works well. I can herdly wait.! Someday I'll find an artist with a slender neck and tall frets, some of the higher end artists had frets that appeared to have beenfiles down a lot, that just doesn't work for me.
