ronmail65 Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 I have 2 late 1990's model Phantoms in excellent condition (I will post pictures of them later with SN info). I am the original owner of both. One of them is tobacco sunburst and the other is TV yellow. Very cool guitars!!Both have been played and have normal light pick scratches and probably some surface scratches on the back. Other than that, no other major issues (no chips, cracks, dents). Both are in excellent working condition and come with original hardshell case.I'm asking $725 plus shipping within the continental US. I live in Richmond, VA if you want to check them out personally.Email me directly if you're interested. rbedsaul@comcast.net
ronmail65 Posted April 10, 2007 Author Posted April 10, 2007 I've gotten lots of interest on these guitars... so let me clarify a couple of things:- I'm asking $725 for each guitar -- not for the pair- I will post photos, SN#, and other details later as well- Yes, these are HAMER USA -- to my knowledge, overseas Phantoms were never producedCheck back!Ron

When will you be putting up your non-original modded/butchered black p/g extra-knob 59 burst for this price: http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.p...c=13839&hl=

It's too good!
ronmail65 Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 HERE THEY ARE... Time to thin the herd -- I have way to many guitars and need to liquidate some. I happen to own 4 other Hamers -- these are great guitars. Each weighs in between 5-6 lbs.1998 Hamer Phantom in Tobacco Sunburst SN 849005. I am the original owner. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes with OHSC. I'm asking $725 plus $50 to ship anywhere in the continental US. The only issues are normal play wear: light pick scratches on the pickguard, the bridge is a little pitted and the poles on the pick ups are a little rusted / tarnished.Photo Links:http://www1.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID...257/t_=922572571997 Hamer Phantom in TV Yellow SN 748731. edgar_allan_poe Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 You need to do better than that if you want to sell them. Take some decent pics of the backs, the headstocks, the necks etc... This ain't goone get *anything* sold around here. Just my 2 cents....

sw686blue Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Wow, what a welcoming committee. Ronmail65...welcome. It would be a good idea to post some better looking pix of your guitars. It will help you sell them faster.
billhart22 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Laughing.............(nothing serious).........Poe has a really good point though. I wouldn't get a new woman without checking her out inch by inch. Internally and externally.

Its just like a tummy tuck, only lower.

serial Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 I had a 2 tone burst Phantom (another HFCer got it) that was a wonderful guitar. These are sleepers if the secret's not already out on them.
BubbaVO Posted February 13, 2008 Posted February 13, 2008 Probably so.....good point. I'm too old for that kind of thing....I'm to the age where my balls hit the toilet water.Try bathing in a tub instead. BTW better pics would help convince me to pony up $700+ . Especially, since I've had a Prototype on my mind the last couple of days. (No one seems to have an inexpensive USA DuoTone dangit). A description of the neck thickness would be cool too.
