BruceM Posted July 11, 2007 Posted July 11, 2007 I've got a soft spot for that white studio. It goes with any outfit. If I weren't purging myself of humbucker guitars, I'd buy that one back.
JohnnyThunders Posted July 11, 2007 Author Posted July 11, 2007 Yep one of Cleveland's oldest and most profilc recording bands this one is called "the Modern Dance". The other two are T-Rex and the Dead Kennedys. Is that a Per Ubu LP cover in the photo? Thanks for the pics Bruce, I'm out of town and will not be back till the weekend to take some. I'm getting down to the hard ones to get rid of and this is ones of them. Great guitar from a man with taste. White does go with any outfit and really looks cool with white amp and cab. zorrow Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Bump lowered pricing, that's it than off to ebay. Hey Johnny! Man, your Vector arrived home safely and me and Nick are having a blast with it. But now that I see all these other axes for sale... how come are you selling so many pieces of your gear? Are you quitting playing, man?

I'm a sucka for white baby!Btw, is it an all-mahogany Studio or does it have a maple cap?The refin is perfect. It was done at the Hamer factory, and I included the receipt in the case when I sold it. It's a maple cap Studio. I can provide more details about the guitar if you'd like.

JohnnyThunders Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 I started playing again after stopping in 1980 5 years ago at age 50. When I started playing again I was suffering from carpal tunnel and arthrtis. The carpal tunnel was resolved for now but the arthrtis has been getting worse and I have tried everthing from accupunture, holistic medicine and regular medicine. My arthrtis was diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis. I'm also suffering from Tinnitus with a low level constant ringing. I refuse to quit becuase I just love to play so I've cut back the volume with a power scaling amp. Old age sucks. After trying lots of guitars my guitar of choice is an 82 special. I have 5 so I'm narrowing down to 2. I'm selling the rest of my guitars and amps except 3 investment guitars which I will eventually sell but I'm not in a hurry. I have 3 other I'm going to sell in the fall. Glad your enjoying the vector. Bump lowered pricing, that's it than off to ebay. Hey Johnny!
