It is quite playable and righteous sounding in its present state. I picked it up at pawn for under $100 and opted to put enough dough into it (about $300) to get it back to being a player again. Seems to me a "complete" restoration would be quite a complex, expensive and lengthy undertaking whether you're doing it yourself or having it done professionally.

In any case, good luck if you decide to get in on the bidding.

Since it's had some serious wood removed already I say Paults should buy it for a Variax conversion so that he can stop using the PRS CE. Maybe he could persuade Stike to give it a sparkle paint job while he was at it. :-)
