kizanski Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Nope, actually it was mine, complete with the checkerboard case and sales hyperbole.Only a real '50's Junior could get me to sell a great guitar like that, but that's the way it happened...
Chollie Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 you should buy it back coz it's now PRE-FENDER
gwayne Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Killer price! I wouldn't take that for mine, pre-fender or not. The case is a cool bonus.
kizanski Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Incoming! I could have predicted that one! Good for you! I'm glad this one is coming back to the HFC!
BCR Greg Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Excellent!!!!!It even has the truss rod cover that launched a few tirades!

NewAKowner Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I'm good with this one (it's pre-Norlin). What a beauty - would it be from the early to mid - 60's?
cmatthes Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 What a beauty - would it be from the early to mid - 60's?Nope, that's a late 50's doublecut TV. They moved to the SG style by '61.

So much for the "good old days."
srvwannab Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Thanks to the OP for the PSA!!I got the guitar- LOVE it! I plugged it into my new checkerboard Rivera R-55 (thanks Kilroy!) and it sounds incredible. If you played rock and could only have one "sound"- I think a cranked P90 might just be it.Thanks!
srvwannab Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 yeah, what they saidaaaaaa what exactly did they say? Sorry, got it... kind of slow on the up-take---
