Its gorgeous. It plays great (noooooooo, not like butter! Only butter plays like butter and the sustain on the butter version is non existent). In the interest of full disclosure the guitar was refinished by Hamer at the CT shop to address Hameritis & Pizza Day issues. It was refin'd to its orig custom ordered color, violet. Docs to back it up will be included. So the guitar is 100% orig except for the new 14 coats of hand-buffed lacquer. Orig Hamer hard case included in equally immaculate shape.

Wow, this one is still available? I can attest that this guitar is light in weight and is a tone monster (plus how many other violet Special FM's have you seen before....not many). It was as new when I sold it to Caddie, and I'm sure the way he takes care of things it's still as new. As a bonus, it was refinned at the CT factory, so you'll probably never have to worry about Hameritis
