MCChris Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 So my bandmate Marc asks me if he can give his girlfriend Krystal (who also plays keyboard with us) a birthday cake between jams (yes it was her actual birthday) and sing her a song ("Something" by the Beatles). Naturally I say "of course" and I get the camera out: So I'm putting the camera away when I hear murmurs of "oh my god" and "I'm so nervous," so I turn around and this guy is getting down on one knee! Pretty cool huh? It was a complete surprise to everyone. And I believe she said yes! LOL
gregc Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Cool!Hey, I noticed he got nicely dressed for the gig, b'day and the BIG occasion!:-)

Zoner Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 The look on his face is pretty priceless - staring into the abyss like that and showing no signs of fear. I wish them well and hope that feeling is with him/them always. Having someone to share life with in a true partnership is amazing. Z
thecajunboy Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 This thread is useless without the song title.

BubbaVO Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 That's nice. They look so young. Congratulations to the happy couple. All the best to them.
Willie G. Moseley Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I was really bold when I asked the Missus if she'd like for us to spend eternity together: "You don't wanna get married, do ya?"And my voice cracked when I said that. So much for the assertiveness training I took....
phoenix Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Yeah, I flubbed mine too. Nothing says manly man like stammering and avoiding eye contact. sheesh.
