Guest hectorp2 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 It's solid quilted maple...in 9/10 condition. The prior owner had the pickups professionally replaced with EMGs (I don't have the originals). The tone/gain circuit is still in and the sonic territory you can cover with the EMGs plus or minus the circuit is truly amazing.I'll post pictures this weekend.Original case; $900 shipped
Guest hectorp2 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 By the way....since I'm selling this to finance a vacation...at this time, it would be naughty of me to consider trades.
serial Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Wow. Don't see many quilted Vintage S' OR ones in salmon blush!
ET_KenW Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Great price on this one. If I hadn't already satisfied my single coil fix with the Daytona I just purchased, I would seriously consider this one. But then I'd really have to figure divorce lawyers into the cost. LOL
silentman Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Email sent... what's the condition, neck size, etc....
Guest hectorp2 Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 Neck size is medium...bigger than my T-62s which are pretty skinny. I've taken pictures...as soon as my wife gets home, I'll post them.
Guest hectorp2 Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Pictures....hope they show up.http://users.rcn.com/cmherman/VintageS1.JPGhttp://users.rcn.com/cmherman/VintageS2.JPGhttp://users.rcn.com/cmherman/VintageS3.JPGhttp://users.rcn.com/cmherman/VintageS4.JPGhttp://users.rcn.com/cmherman/VintageS5.JPG
Lockbody Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 What? This guitar is still for sale? What a beautiful piece.
Caddie Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 By the way....since I'm selling this to finance a vacation...at this time, it would be naughty of me to consider trades. With all due respect, vacations are oh so fleeting. The memories fade, the photos end up in the bottom drawer......... Keep the guitar and buy a nice "coffee table book" of your planned vacation destination.- Better photos- Less expensive- You get to keep the VintageS;-)Ca Peesh?Noonan
Jason01 Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Man, thats an unusual bookmatching there. Very nice guitar and a nice price on it.
Scottcrud Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 man that is nice, I would have a hard time parting with that one.
