petemfa51 Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 This Tally was custom ordered by Greg at BCR Music. We all know this is his speciality!!! Beautiful Jazzburst with an INCREDIBLE Quilted Maple top that looks like it's on fire. Add in a DARK Rosewood fingerboard with BINDING, and WOW!!! The binding on the fingerboard REALLY adds a finishing touch to this guitar!!!Weighs in at 7.5 lbs. and is THE most resonant guitar I have ever played. I paid $3400 for it a few months ago and will take $2800 for it. That includes shipping to the lower 48 States. Payment by cashiers check. The ONLY reason this guitar is being sold is because I just purchased an original 1956 Les Paul Gold top and must replace SOME of the money I used. I know I will regret selling this guitar the day it leaves my hands. You will not be disappointed. Never out of my home, 100% ORIGINAL, even the STRINGS have never been changed. all paper work including BLANK warranty card and perfect factory case!!http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn148/p.../TallyQuilt.jpghttp://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn148/p...llyQuiltSun.jpg
BubbaVO Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Want to trade my unbound Talladega for your bound Talladega straight up?That guitar is killer.
petemfa51 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 Thanks, but I'm not lookin' for any trades. Just $2800
cmatthes Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Damned cool guitar, no doubt, but a blank warranty card doesn't mean anything unless you're the original purchaser!
DavidE Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 That's killer! But the warranty will be no more....Maybe the best looking one so far.
petemfa51 Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 Just put that in there to let folks know ALL the paper work is intact and included.Besides, I've NEVER had a SINGLE warranty issue with ANY of the 2 dozen Hamers I've owned over a 20+ year period!!!
serial Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Just put that in there to let folks know ALL the paper work is intact and included.Besides, I've NEVER had a SINGLE warranty issue with ANY of the 2 dozen Hamers I've owned over a 20+ year period!!!I've only had one minor issue and Hamer's customer service guru, Kim Keller took care of it in jig time with zero hassle. Given the 100 or so Hamers I've owned over the years, one minor problem isn't so bad-I'll take those odds, especially with the top quality stuff they're putting out these days!
