My band's review-

Found out we had a reviewer at this past weekends show. Here's what she wrote:

[b]"Hotwired was at the Steel Horse Saloon (www.steelhorsesaloon.com) belting out hits like "Bad Case of Loving You " by Robert Palmer, "Suffragette City" by David Bowie, "Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison, "Cat Scratch Fever" by Ted Nugent, "Great Balls of Fire" by Jerry Lee Lewis, "White Wedding" by Billy Idol, and "New Girl Now" by Honeymoon Suite. Hotwired falls into your general "bar band" category but their tune selection is diverse and danceable (always a plus). They're not jumping all over the place and running around, so this isi the band to see for the moderately laid back crew.

How would you guys take this review? I think it's pretty positve except for the last line. Our first set is definitely warm up time. If she saw our 2nd and 3rd sets I think she would have said different. Especially my bassist- he's a total madman!

This is a great review.

The last line might sting a little, but it will definitely get more people out to see you than "The bassist is a mad man who drools blood and spits fire".

And for your press kit and review quotes, you can always leave it out :)

Congrats, brother! Keep fightin the good fight!

Thanks, brother!

It's like a performance review at work - they never say everything is perfect, there always has to be room for improvement. It is certainly a positive review.

I hear ya on that one, man! Believe me, there is a lot of room for improvement too!

Gotta be happy with that!

Hell, I'd be happy if somebody just REVIEWED my band.;)

Congrats! The local music rag in my neck of the woods goes out of it's way to avoid us, so you're doing great in my opinion!

Looks like I'll need to find out if, when, and where you're playin' next time I'm in the PHX area...

Hotwired is definitely worth seeing if you happen to be in the Phoenix area. I checked them out, but could only stay for the first set. Good diverse setlist played well. I could certainly see the bass player kicking loose later in the set.

Thanks for the plug, Greg!
