Maybe that's adjusted to Euros? i got this model offered many years ago new from a dealer for ~ 1900 deutsch marks. that was in that time about 1000 USD. guess in the states it was cheaper. depending to todays exchange it would be ~1300 USD. in the states you guys have the weak dollar, but spec. in germany we have to pay much more for everything, even with the strong euro. we all get fucked!
