Hamer TLE and Special

I'm going to let a TLE and a Special go. The TLE is close to mint. The Special is definitely a player with lots of stories ingrained into it, but no breaks and it's a solid, functional guitar. It has two mini-toggles with Bill Lawrence pickups (which I love, they are super hot and searing). I'm just throwing it up here because I sold a 25.5" TLE on Ebay and MC2 missed out on that one, which I felt bad about and wished I had offered it up here first but an Ebay deal is an Ebay deal so I didn't feel right about reneg'ing on the winning bidder. And by the way, the winning bidder on that one was a buyer from Russia who begged me to let him bid and said it would be no problem to ship over there. It turned out to be a major, major PITA and I will never do it again, so sorry folks but these guitars are going to be staying in their birth country.

I occasionally sell stuff I don't need on eBay, but the only items that I will export are small music collectibles (CD's, etc). Out of country buyers get all hot and bothered when they want to know why I won't sell outside the US for certain items. THIS f'rinstance (what you said) is exactly why I WON'T. I like money, but I don't need the added aggravation.

P.S. Good luck on your sale, I'd be curious to see what you've got!

How about pics and a price for the TLE? Thanks.

Here are a couple of pictures. I'm actually starting to vascillate on the TLE, it is almost mint condition and it took me a long time to score a sunburst one. So, for now I'm on the fence and a may change my mind, but for your viewing pleasure....

Some more pics of the Special for those who requested. It's actually in better shape than I remember after looking at it last night, I called it a player but it's actually in way better shape than most of the Specials people call "players". Just the normal dings and dimples on the edges, a very small spot of rash, not even through the finish on the back, that I tried to photo but it was hard to capture, and a scratch on the back of the neck. The headstock isn't even really murdered as is usually common. And of course the standard finish checking. It's an '80...
