Fender 1960's Vintage Player Strat. This is a rare upgraded version

of the Made in Mexico 60's strat reissue. It has a 9.5 radius,

Custom Shop Texas special pickups, USA hardware (steel trem block)

and off white (parchment) plastic parts. Rosewood fretboard, slightly

chunky "C" profile neck. jumbo frets, some light fretwear but plays

superbly. rear of headstock has a "special edition" logo.

The finish is aztec gold, which is killer color, it's more of a candy

apple gold... Guitar is in excellent condition, front and back are

very clean, there are a couple light dings on the sides. no gig

bag, trem arm or back plate but you can pick these up cheap on ebay.

Guitar is otherwise original.

$500 paypaled delivered within the US

I had trouble getting the flash to capture the color, shot two is

closer to what it looks like in person...

That is a great color. I really like the Texas Special pickups. They are more powerful but also not as trebly (in a good way) as the stock Fenders.

stupid cool guitars, 2003 classic players are worth way more than what your asking. its pretty much a USA guitar (materials) and built across the fence. Mine will always be mine. Someone needs to hit this. alotta guitar for the coin.

Ditto what Murkat said - I played one owned by another HFC'er, and couldn't believe it was a MexiFender. Really nice guitar for about 1/2 the price they SHOULD sell for.

These sound good too. I'm not much of a Strat guy, but I knew I would not find as good a Strat for the $$$. So I gave mine to my son. That way I would not sell it, and would have a Strat if needed.

$500's a great deal. They sold new for $799.
