AKG Solidtube condenser mic. Absolutely awesome mic. $1100 new. $500 with a standard 12ax7. I also have a wealth of top shelf 12AX7's that would be great in this. If you are interested lets talk. 3. Fargen Bordeaux Head. 2 channel, the third one he made. Best sounding amp I have ever heard but the flexibility of my RK wins out for my bands. he no longer makes this. $1700 This one breaks my heart....but alas, it needs to be done. 4. Breedlove USA Focus 12string with KOA back and sides. Excellent condition with the only blemish being a scratch behind the bridge that was on the guitar when I bought it. You can feel it with your finger, but you can only see it when the guitar is turned at the right angle. It was more than likely done when changing the strings which is an absolute bitch on this guitar. Sounds like a choir of angels. I was having some problems with the piezo system a little while ago and took it to BCR. Since that time the guitar has worked perfectly. 2K

This was my first custom amp and is still the best I have tried. *Great* amp. I can't tell you how tempted I am to snag one of those VOSs I see for sale for 1k. The VOS was Ben's flagship and is basically a single channel Bordeaux with a lot of tweaks. It has more gain than mine...Ben told me once that it has about 30% more gain. He also offered to bring my amp up to current spec but I declined, I didn't want to change anything, it sounded perfect to my ears.
