Sorry I missed your original post, Gene. I was out of town the past week. I'm trying to plan a party at the 4-3-2-1 that night. My band, the Escape Goats, are losing a member to a 2-year job in Istanbul. That will likely be our final performance night, and if so, I'm certain a jam will break out! I hope it works out, and if I don't hold the party, I can always throw together a mini-jam. You never know who might be available. I'll keep you posted.
BillW Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Bill, we'll play White Wedding in your honor! I appreciate that, Bruce. To all you f*%#kers at the MPLS 4-3-2-1 HFC: I'll see you on the far side of batchelorhood.Tell that drumming fiend of yours that I'm glad his boy's illness situation is looking up. I will show up to an 4-3-2-1 Jam soon enough ( as soon as I get used to playing guitar with a huge ass ring on my finger)toast one up for me, guys ....- Bill
BruceM Posted July 12, 2005 Author Posted July 12, 2005 Tell that drumming fiend of yours that I'm glad his boy's illness situation is looking up. Hey Bill,Mike and family were over for dinner on the weekend of the 4th, along with brother Scott and his family. Mike's son Miles is doing remarkably well, considering he's in the middle of his leukemia therapy. He's the happiest, smiliest 3 year old I've been around in a long time, and is extremely cute with his little bald head and huge eyes and smile. I'll send regards to Mike for you. I'm hoping he makes it over for this jam...I haven't heard from him yet.Don't worry, we'll get another jam going, possibly Labor Day weekend...
robbie Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 Things are looking pretty solid for me to make it on the 23rd. Looking forward to seeing ya'all again especially you Chris. Congrats Bill!!

earachemyeye Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 LMFAO! Take THAT Billy Boy! We will also have to play "Welcome To My Nightmare" by Alice Cooper for him. Really though, I wish you a great wedding and a happy marriage. BTW, I stopped by Solidbody Guitar the other day and it appears to be no more. The store was empty. I wonder where those $250,000 Les Pauls ended up? Too bad, I liked the place. See you guys on the 23rd. Joe

I wonder where those $250,000 Les Pauls ended up? JoeThat's wierd. I talked to someone there on the phone last week about an amp repair. I wonder if they've moved? They had a blackface Pro Reverb that I've been struggling to justify with the "you're not buying it, you're investing in it" logic.
earachemyeye Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Dave, I wondered the same thing (moved?) but there was no sign saying if they did. If you find something out please let me know. I'm going to try visiting the website and see what I find.Joe
JES1680 Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Solidbody moved a couple blocks south, but that was several months ago. I know they're still around as I spoke with Brad yesterday. I should be able to make the jam. This time I'll bring the monaco III.
earachemyeye Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 Well...I just visited their website and it looks like a brand new store. Whew! Guess this is as good excuse as any to pay them a visit. Joe
